About Us: My approach to web design combines the field of graphic design and information architecture. I offer not only the skills of providing a usable, organized structure or "path" through a web site, but I am also responsible for making your web page or printed piece reflect your business and look great!
With nearly one billion publicly accessible web pages on the internet today, it is important for businesses to understand how important those initial 3 seconds a visitor spends on your site is! If it looks professional and is organized, visitors will stay and discover. If they click in...and click out, you have lost a potential client!
Born and raised in Portland, I have a BFA in Advertising Design from Oregon State University.
Web and Multi Media are programs I have been a part of through Portland Community College.
Dark Horse Solutions was born from a desire to be a part of the business community in a creative capacity and a desire to help other business owners realize some of their business goals.
My office looks west across the rolling hillside of Yamhill County, Oregon
with an unabstructed view of the Oregon Coast Range. Looking through the
south windows our grass fed bison and meat goat herds offer not only calming
mental breaks but the opportunity to actually leave the work unfinished
for the
day! We have designed our life, combining the best of todays technology with
practices of years past, and love it! After my husbands 18 years of military
service, we settled on 40 acres in the middle of Yamhill County's Wine
Country.
We now have our children through college and are settling in for
phase two of our lives.
